A few months ago I did a massive clear out of all of the beauty products I hadn’t used in years or had gone off. I’m so guilty of hoarding things, but I decided it was time to get rid of all the crusty old mascaras and doomed nail polishes, and really start investing in products that I would use on a regular basis. My kit is looking much more manageable and I find myself reaching for these things on a pretty regular basis!
Garnier Micellar Water
One of my resolution has been to take better care of my skin and actually make the effort to take my makeup off at the end of the night. This Garnier Micellar Water really cuts through everything (not that I have loads of makeup on in the first place, but it sure makes quick work of it.) and my skin doesn’t dry out from it either which is a definite bonus!
Elemis Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream Oil
I discovered this magical product rather by accident, by a friend who gave it to me to try! I didn’t really have any products I was using after taking my makeup off, so I was happy to give this one a go! I’ve been using it for about 2 months now and my skin loves it! I’ve noticed a massive difference in how my skin looks and feels!
St. Ives Blemish Fighting Apricot Scrub
I’ve been a big fan of St. Ives for years, but I didn’t actually know it existed in the UK until I spotted it in Boots a few months ago! Imagine my surprise! Not only does it leave my face feeling smooth, but it’s easy on the skin and the wallet. Not to mention, I’m a big fan of apricot-scented things. It smells amazing, and I actually look forward to washing my face with this delightful scrub. I’d use it every day if I could!
MIA Therapy Scalp Oil Treatment
I’ve had a lot of issues with dry scalp since moving to the UK. The water is much softer here, and it’s definitely having an effect. I’ve tried using dandruff shampoos, but they strip my hair to the brittle bone, and leave a wake of frizz that I’m in no mood to deal with. In my curiosity about what other people use on their curls, I discovered Moisture in Abundance, an Etsy-based shop that primarily uses oil blends to help promote healthy hair. The scalp treatment is a really soothing blend of Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Peppermint Oil which has helped massively! I’ve still got a bit of a dry scalp, but I’ve noticed a massive improvement! Plus, it smells amazing, and I’ll take any excuse to sit in a hot bath for an extra 10 minutes, am I right?
Have you tried any of these beauts? What are you loving right now?
