I’m just gonna talk to you a second about my love of leopard print. If you ask what my favorite color is, 9 times out of 10 I’ll say it’s leopard print. It’s completely genetic; my mother loves leopard print just as much as I do! Now, before you get carried away and think that I have a secret wardrobe only filled with this amazingly spotty pattern, I should say, I’m very selective in what things I buy. It’s so easy to go the slightly overkill route with leopard print, so I really have to love something to buy it. This skirt for example, I didn’t even hesitate!

When it comes to the fairer print, I tend to think less is more, and limit myself to a pair or shoes or a bag. I’ve never really been keen on big statement pieces, though lately I have totally been craving a gorgeous fur coat like the ones I’ve seen in Zara and Mango in the last few years. Go big or go home, right?it’s such a fun print to throw on when you want a bit of extra sass, and it’s a great pattern to play with in terms of mixing and matching different patterns and colors!

I’ve also noticed that when the weather turns colder, the leopard print starts to make an appearance! Scarves, dresses, coats, boots, you name it. This skirt for example, would be a bit too thick in the summer but I can totally see myself pairing it with a cozy jumper, a nice pair of colored tights and some Chelsea boots.

What do you guys think! What patterns do you find yourself drawn to? Anything you find yourself wearing more at one time of year, than another?

First of all beautiful photos πŸ™‚ and the outfit is such a cute combo everything matches together! Yes, I noticed that too that in Autumn you tend to see a lot more leopard print! I personally love bold bright coloured patterns and floral prints are my absolute favourite πŸ™‚

Thank you! My pal Lauren took the photos; she really is a wonder! I love leopard print, and it actually goes really well with other patterns too! I’ve paired with with florals before, and it actually works really well!
