I’m in total denial about summer being over. It came out of no where! September 1st arrived, and not only did I miss the Hogwarts Express (again), but the temperature plummeted. I guess it’s true what they say, Winter is coming! I was feeling a bit nostalgic, so I went down to the South Bank, one of my favorite places. When I first studied abroad in London, this time about 7 years ago, I would go down to the South Bank on a near daily basis, just to sit and wonder about how I was lucky enough to have ended up here.
I’ve been wanting to do a post on this adorable cloud dress since I got it a few months ago, but hadn’t had a good moment to do so. I’ve worn it a few times, around the house but this was really my first time properly wearing it out. I thought that visiting the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill would be the perfect place to take a few pictures. The weather has been rather overcast the last few days, so the dress felt very appropriate.
I first heard about The Bloggers Market through two blogs I’ve followed for a few years now, What Olivia Did and WishWishWish. It was shortly after my move to the UK, so it was a good excuse for me to get out of the house and go exploring. I made my way to Camden, where the Market was being held, and indulged in a little retail therapy, chatting with Olivia, Carrie and some of the other bloggers. Naturally, when I heard it was happening again, I was pretty excited!
