My Christmas Wishlist

December 1, 2016

It’s officially time to think about Christmas! I’ve finally recovered from Thanksgiving and my trip home (more on that later) but now that that’s done and dusted it’s time to get into Christmas mode! It’s definitely been on my mind lately, especially since the ice rinks are up, the light displays are on and the Christmas shops are open!  Last year, P and I made a big deal of Christmas, because it was our first time properly celebrating together, but this year will be a little more low key, I think (especially because I’m working… sigh…). Still, I thought I’d start off the Christmas cheer with a little wishlist!

When I was little, my parents always had me tell them one gift I really wanted and then I could add other little things as well if I wanted. They didn’t really subscribe to the Santa Claus way of thinking, but I also understood that they worked very hard to make sure my sister and I were able to have gifts on Christmas. We always got that one gift we wanted more than anything, and then lots of little gifts and stocking stuffers. That habit has stuck with me a little bit, though P and I didn’t exchange wishlists or anything last year. Everything on my list this year are things I’ve been lusting after for a little while, but my top picks have to be that pink satchel from Cambridge Satchel Company, the bus necklace from Tatty Devine, and that gorgeous watch from Olivia Burton! Totally dreamy, right?

I'm completely obsessed with Rifle Paper Co! And I'm definitely going for cozy this year. It must be that Hygge book I read. All I want is to be nice and cozy in my flat this winter!
