One of the things I love about London is the staggering number of cafes and coffee shops that exist. Fun fact… I have a Google Map on my phone of all the coffee shops I like, or want to try. I’m not even kidding… I’ve got 30 or so saved on there at the moment, and I’m always adding more… You might remember my mentioning in my post about being an introverted extrovert, that I prefer doing my socializing over a nice latte or a cup of tea, so when it came time to make plan to meet up with Michelle, I whipped out my handy map and picked a spot. I’d mentioned Hally’s as a potential location, and Michelle quickly confirmed that it was also on her radar… so off we went!
I’m not sure what made me fall in love first, the gorgeous wood tables, the mouthwatering breakfast menu, the bright yellow stools, or the friendly smiles of the staff the second I walked in. Maybe it was the totally chilled out vibe. At 11am on a Tuesday, it wasn’t too busy, but I imagine it’s a popular spot in Parsons Green. We came for coffee but ended up having a tasty breakfast. They also do Bottomless Brunch on the weekend, so you can bet I’ll be coming back to this cozy little spot!
Hally’s has got it’s California vibes down right, with the adorable (and soothing) white wood walls that seemed to reflect all of the light, even on the gloomy day we stopped by. They have a little shop across the road that does juicing, and though we didn’t try any of their juices on this particular visit, the options certainly intrigued me! The breakfast we had was delicious, and oh so fresh, so I can only imagine how tasty their lunch menu must be. I mean, I took a peek at it online, and spotted a few things that sounded divine. Best of all, I could totally see myself camping out for a few hours with my laptop to get some work done while I sipped on a latte and nibbled a pastry (or two…). It might be a bit of a trek to get to, but honestly, the atmosphere was so nice, I don’t think I’d mind!
