Here we go! 2018 is kicking off with a bang, and it’s the first outfit of the ‘Wear My Wardrobe’ challenge! January has started out as a bit of a gloomy (and wet!) month, hasn’t it? The Christmas haze has blown over, and suddenly, all I can think about is how many days until summer. As I slowly get back into the hang of being social again, I decided that I needed to inject a little bit of color into my life! Start as you mean to go on, am I right? This amazing pink jumper was the perfect place to start!

I was meeting up with Lesley for a coffee and a catch up, and we opted for the ever colorful Paper and Cup in Shoreditch. I featured this beauty in my blog post about my favorite coffee shops in London and I have to say, it’s still up there! The coffee and tea are so nice, the cakes are tasty, the books are aplenty, and the vibes are just right! I thought bright colors would be the way to go, so I dusted off this pink jumper that I’ve actually only worn once since I bought it. ONCE! You miiiight recognize it from the ‘Come Shopping With Me’ vlog I did a little while ago, and I was excited to take it out for a spin (again)! I’m not sure what I love more, the color, or the giant sleeves that make me feel so incredibly cozy!

Since pink is endlessly popular, I thought I’d pair it with my favorite pink satchel (which, incidentally, was the first thing I treated myself to after last year’s ‘Wear My Wardrobe’ challenge!) and even my makeup had some pinky undertones, lipstick especially! Go big, or go home, right? I thought I could apply my challenge to some of my makeup too! Maybe I should rename it the ‘Wear My Wardrobe and My Makeup Challenge’… Still, all the pink certainly did the job of perking me up and allowing me to try something new, so mission accomplished! I’ve gone through my wardrobe and planned out a few more outfits as well, so here’s to carrying on with the challenge!

This jumper is so good! A great statement piece 💕. My version of this challenge would wearing more of my clothes. I tend to wear the same thing

I found that too! That’s the other reason I wanted to do it! I have a good sense of the things I never wear so will get rid of, as well as the things I want to wear more! It’s a fun way to remember why I bought things in the first place!
