Ghenet Actually || London Eats: Eggbreak

If there is anything you need to know about me, it’s that I LOVE breakfast. Yup. I’m one of those people! My first meal always has to be breakfast related, even if it happens at 3 in the afternoon! I can’t explain it, but I’m certainly fine with it! Not too long ago, I was meeting up with my pal Michelle, and we decided to indulge in a little brunching! We headed to a spot in Notting Hill purely dedicated to the fine art of breakfast food: Eggbreak!

Do you ever have that feeling when you look at a menu and think, ‘actually, I want ALL of it!’ Well, that’s pretty much what happened at Eggbreak. Not only were there plenty of vegetarian options for me, but all of them sounded divine! I don’t know if I can really convey the brilliance of a shakshuka, or a sweet potato rosti with goats cheese, and poached eggs. Perhaps the mexican omelette is more your style? Either way, Eggbreak has it all. In fact, Michelle and I couldn’t decide, so we each got a main, and then decided to split the cornflake french toast, because we’re bosses like that. Go big or go home, right? Especially when French Toast is involved!

Not only was the food tasty, but Eggbreak has such a nice atmosphere too! It’s very cozy and chilled out. We sat there for nearly 2 hours, chatting, eating, and catching up! To be honest, I could have happily spent the whole day there, and carried on until dinner. I’ll definitely be going back because there are several things on the menu that I am keen to try out! So there you are! If you’re wandering around Notting Hill, desperate for a place to grab a bite, Eggbreak is definitely worth a visit!

Eggbreak is located at 30 Uxbridge Street, W8 7TA
