London is officially in bloom! We’re a little behind on the springtime vibes just now (cheers for that, snow!) but I’ve got just the thing to help you get your fix! Elizabeth Street is a full on blooming garden just now! One of my favorite things about London in the spring is the gorgeous floral displays that start cropping up everywhere! Until everything blooms in real life, these are the perfect remedy!
Spot #1: Peggy Porschen Cakes
Perhaps the most well known, Peggy Porschen always has a cute display, and it’s literally all over Instagram! Their colorful displays often change with the seasons, but they’re a pastel dream! The cupcakes and sweet treats are also a sight to behold, though I’ve never actually given them a try. If there’s one place you keep on your list all year round, Peggy Porschen’s is the one! It’s a must for your Instagram fodder, especially when the weather is a little grey and gloomy.
The trick is with timing. Peggy’s is very popular and rather famous for their floral display. Catch it at the wrong time and the tables are packed and the queue is out the door. I managed to get these snaps by going early on a Friday morning! They almost always have a truly spectacular floral display so it’s definitely worth a walk by, no matter the time of year!

Spot #2: Donna Ida
This dreamy clothing shop has really given itself quite the flower crown! I love how it comes through the window! The clothes are perhaps out of my budget (it is Belgravia after all,) but I can totally appreciate how a good window display draws people in. I stopped at stared at it for a good few minutes before I even started taking pictures! How imaginative and colorful! I hardly saw anyone outside taking pictures, so if you’re looking for a cute background for your outfit snap, this floral display is a must!
Conveniently next door, Jo Loves has put up an equally sweet floral display, so this one is kind of a 2-for-1! Jo Loves seems keen on the floral display as I’ve seen a few different ones at various points during the year.

Spot #3: Les Senteurs
It would be difficult to walk past the floral display featured at Les Senteurs and not have a moment of happiness. It features wisteria, one of my spring time favorites, and compliments the exterior of this gorgeous perfumery so well, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s the entrance to Eden. The beautiful blue store front, and the checkerboard tiling on the steps are enough to entice me on a normal day, but this floral display just takes the cake! If you’ve popped to Peggy Porschen hoping for a snap, I urge you to wander up the road a little further and admire this beauty.
The perfumery is in fact one of London’s oldest independent perfumers, and it has such charm! It was closed when I walked by, but had it been open, I definitely would have at least popped in to take a whiff of the candles I could spy through the window!

Spot #4: Dominique Ansel Bakery
They had me at cronut, to be honest. I’m a sucker for a good pastry, and will be making this beautiful bakery a regular spot on my list. Then we come to this gorgeous floral display that not only graces the entrance, but carries on inside! Sunflowers are the absolute dream, and this display is the perfectly welcoming burst of color!
I’m actually familiar with this bakery from New York, and was pretty excited to see they’d made the leap across the pond! On these gloomy grey days we’ve been having, why not stop by and enjoy this delightful display. Cront not included (though I wouldn’t blame you for nipping into try one!)
