Slogan tees are all the rage these days! I myself have several, but when I spotted this little beauty in Mango, I couldn’t resist! It immediately reminded me of that David Bowie song, and the blue glittery letters were too dreamy to pass up. I’ve got another slogan tee tat says “Feminist” across the front, and a third that says “I’m cooler on instagram” in big bold letters. Sometimes you just want a fun tee that says it all for you!
I wasn’t actually planning on doing an outfit post with this tee, but on the one sunny day we seemed to have last week, I spontaneously met up with Lauren, and decided to through it on, along with this gorgeous skirt that I never wear. We went for a little wander round some of the backstreets of Waterloo, which is bit like walking through a time capsule. There’s something very old school about the architecture, and according to the lovely gentleman who was on his way to work, spotted us taking snaps and stopped for a chat, the street has been used as a location in a number of films and TV shows! Most recently, Tom Hardy wandered down the road for his film about the Kray brothers. Fascinating, isn’t it?
I don’t know about you guys but I’m definitely looking forward to warm weather and sunshine! I’m a bit bummed out by the grey clouds and drizzle that loom outside as I sit and write this, but I suppose that is the way the seasons go! I’m definitely more of a warm weather girl, and while I do like the rain and find it rather soothing, I need some sunshine! It’s great exploring new bits of London when the sun is shining too; the city just comes to life in the spring, doesn’t it?

I’ve still been keeping shopping to a minimum this year, ever since my shopping ban earlier this year. I find my focus has definitely changed, and instead of just buying stuff so I can have content, I’m really investing in my wardrobe, and feeling much freer in my choices! I probably wouldn’t have done an outfit post so spontaneously last year! I know now that every single thing in my wardrobe is something I really want to wear which is such a nice feeling! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve still got a wardrobe wishlist that I’m always adding to, but it feels much more genuine these days. That, to me, is definitely the most important thing!
