You might recall a few months ago, I talked about how I’ve lost my way with my skincare routine… Well, I’m pleased to say things are on the up! I’ve actually been sticking to a skincare routine the last few weeks, so I thought I’d share some of the products I’ve been using! I feel like I’ve definitely found my rhythm when it comes to what skincare products I need, and which ones I don’t!
My main vibe right now is cleanser syrup and moisterizer, and then double cleansing when I’ve been wearing make-up. My skin definitely feels better for it, that’s for sure! So without further ado, here are some of the skincare products I’m currently using!
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser:
I really liked the Jelly Cleanser when I first tried it, so I thought, why not give it another go? I like the texture of it, and it doesn’t dry out my skin. I’ve definitely spent more on a cleanser and had it make my skin feel dry and itchy. At £15, this one is affordable for me, and it leaves my skin feeling great! I usually use it in the morning, when I’m in the shower, and after the gym!
Saturday Skin Rise + Shine Purifying Cleanser:
I’ve heard lots of great things about this South Korean skincare brand and the products they have on offer. So when I was looking for another cleanser, I thought, why not give this one a go! I’ve got to say, I’m definitely a fan now! I use this one in the evenings, before bed, and it leaves my skin feeling so clean and fresh! It’s thick without feeling too cloying, and I like the tingly feeling my skin gets as I wash my face! It’s around £20, but honestly, a little bit goes a long way, so I definitely feel like I’ve got my money’s worth!
*Revolution Skincare Serums:
A newer part of my routine has involved some serums from Revolution, which I was very kindly gifted. I use them almost every day though, so that’s got to be a good sign! I like to alternate them, depending on how my skin is feeling. The Superfruit Extract Antioxidant Rich Serum is great in the morning and smells so nice! Then there’s the Plumping & Hydrating Solution with 2% Hyaluronic Acid, which helps hydrate my skin. My favorite one though is the Rosehip Seed Oil. Not technically a serum, but it feels so good on my skin!
Caudalie Make-up Removing Cleansing Oil:
Normally, I’d use micellar water to take off my makeup but I’ve been finding recently that it makes my skin feel really dry. So I thought I’d try an oil. Not only is the price just right, (£18) but it melts my makeup off in seconds (even my hard-to-remove waterproof eyeliner!), and doesn’t leave my skin feeling parched. I can already see a difference in my skin, because I know there’s no trace of makeup left behind!
*Revolution Skincare Pink Clay Mask and Charcoal Mask:
In addition to the serums above, I was also gifted some of Revolution’s new face masks. You’ve probably seen me using them on my Instagram Stories because I use them quite a bit! The pink clay is a great dupe of the Sand and Sky mask at a much better price (I liked the Sand and Sky mask, but really could not justify the £40 price tag)! Only £8! I’ll definitely be buying these again! I’ve been doing one of these each week, and honestly, my skin loves it!
Glossier Priming Moisturizer:
Topping up on this skincare product was a no brainer! It’s the same great moisturizer I remember! My skin always feels fresh when I put it on, and the fact that it’s also a primer is definitely a bonus. Though I stick to using it as a moisturizer… Still, I really like it, and will definitely buy it for a third or fourth time!
Overall, my skin has definitely improved since I started properly looking after it. These skincare products are really working for me, though I’m always looking for new ones to try. I’ll be sticking to this one for the foreseeable future, and I’m having fun pampering my skin! The best part is that every one of these products is £20 or less, so it’s not doing too much damage to my wallet!
