September seems like a strange time to be refreshing my bullet journal. Why not wait until January? Well, I’ve been caught by the back to school vibes and have been feeling a little uninspired. So I decided that refreshing my bullet journal was the best way to go! I’ve got a brand new notebook, some fresh ideas, and a Pinterest board filled to the brim with inspiration!
I’ve talked about bullet journalling on the blog before, and it’s a real love of mine. Sometimes I go through phases where I use it constantly or I barely touch it. The great thing about a bullet journal is that you can change it to fit your needs! Here’s what I’m thinking about adding:
Condensed Weekly Schedule and More To-Do Lists
When I first started bullet journalling, my work schedule was all over the place. It made sense to dedicate space to that, so I could keep track. Now, with my set schedule, all that space is a little superfluous. It makes much more sense to utilize that space for to do lists and things I need to do each week!
Goals and Things I Want to Do
I already use my bullet journal to make lists, but I’d love to use it as more of a goal setting space as well. For example, I want to go through my wardrobe and fill it out more with essentials. My bullet journal would be a great place to keep track of that!
Blog Content Brainstorming
I do this already, but by refreshing my bullet journal, I can have a clean and clear space to revisit these ideas and come up with new ones. It’s a great thing to have as a guide when I feel like I’m stuck on ideas, and a place to jot down things when I’m struck with inspiration!
A Place For Random Thoughts
I’d also like to use my bullet journal as more of an actual journal. I didn’t do this as a kid, but I do sometimes think I should have a space in my bullet journal where I can just dump random thoughts, or jot things down.
I’ve been looking at lots of great things on Pinterest, and I’m really excited about refreshing my bullet journal! It seems a waste not to use it to the best of it’s ability, even if that does mean starting from scratch. I’ve also bought a new style of notebook to help me out too! Oh, stationery, how I love you!
