I know, I know, I haven’t shut up about Oxford, but I had such a good time! You might have seen my little post about my day trip with Carrie and all the fun we had! This post, however is about my outfit, and more importantly, my bag. As you know, I’ve been on a bit of spending ban, while I get reacquainted with my wardrobe. However, I did decide to treat myself to a nice little purchase that I’d had my eye on for quite a while: a bag from Cambridge Satchel Co!

One of the things that I’ve learned from doing my wardrobe challenge is that I should spend my hard earned money on things I really want, and not try to fill up my wardrobe just so I can have blog content. In fact, I’ve gotten rid of a few things that I either didn’t like or wasn’t going to wear. I’ll be taking those down to the charity shop so I can clear space for things I do really want. I’m sure I’ve spoken about this before. It’s really playing on my mind at the moment. Treating myself to one of these totally adorable bags was so satisfying! I’ve had my eye on Cambridge Satchel Co for several years now, and when I saw they were having a sale (and I had a 10% off code on top of that) I knew it was too good to pass up. Naturally, for one of my bag’s first outings, Oxford just felt so appropriate!

What can I say? I fell in love with this little pink bag from the moment I saw it, and the moment it arrived in my house and in my arms, I knew it was well worth every penny. I don’t make a lot of money, so I sometimes feel very aware of where it all goes. The same goes for my trip to Oxford. I didn’t have a massive amount of money to spend, but it was more about having a great day with a great friend, and just enjoying myself. Truthfully, that’s more important to me at the moment.
