Exploring the Little Village of Dulwich, South London
I love exploring London; it’s one of my favorite pastimes to be honest! areas of London. Eager to stretch my legs a bit, I decided to go somewhere a little closer to home. My pal Katy joined me for a little wander around Dulwich! Okay, technically we were in East Dulwich and Dulwich Village, but still! Sometimes you just need a change of scenery, ya know? I’ve passed through Dulwich so many times in the past but never stopped to explore it properly!

To See…
Dulwich is a beautiful little area and there is a lot to see while you’re exploring! We had such a blast wandering streets, and finding little corners! There are a few things to see if you’re up for having a day out!
Dulwich Outdoor Gallery: Who knew there was so much cool street art all over Dulwich? I sure didn’t! But there is and it’s all part of an outdoor gallery project. Classic works of art are reinterpreted on walls all over the neighborhood! It’s pretty cool. We saw a lot of different ones!
Bell Cottage: We’ve all seen that cottage on Instagram, right? It’s super adorable and honestly, I would move right in! It’s right on College Road, down a bit from the Picture Gallery and the Park! It’s a lovely little corner, and a totally adorable house!
Dulwich Park: Who doesn’t love a little spot of green? It’s one of my favorite things about London, how many parks and greens there are! Dulwich Park is no exception, and on warmer days would be an excellent spot to sit for a while!

To Eat…
Anytime I’m heading somewhere new, I always scope out places to eat or get a coffee. It’s very important for me! Especially if I can support independent businesses too!
Spinach: Katy and I stopped into Spinach for some chai lattes and pastries and it was a nice little treat! We sat outside, as the weather was still warm, and just watched the world go by. There were fairy lights and turning leaves, in a lovely autumnal spot!
Blue Brick Cafe: Katy and I didn’t make it to Blue Brick Cafe, but I’ve been before with Mr. Actually. It’s all vegetarian/vegan food but it’s really tasty! Plus, I was a big fan of all the rustic, thrown together vibes. Definitely worth taking a look!
Gails: I love a Gails. Their pastries and bread are pretty tasty, so if you’re looking for something a bit more familiar, you’re in luck! They had plenty of outdoor seating as we walked by, so if the weather is nice… why not! Dulwich is so pretty anyway! A snack and a view!

To Shop…
There’s plenty of shelves to peruse if you’re thinking of bringing home some souvenirs at all. Charity shops, cute little homeware places, there are so many to list! But I’ll leave you with my favorite:
Forest London: Even when I’m not exploring, I pop up to Forest for houseplants on the regular. They also have some nice homeware bits too… candles, lotions, pots and whatnot! I’d say if you’re going to stop anywhere, this is definitely the one to visit!

There you have it. A little guide to a little neighbourhood in London for you to explore! There are so many little corners of this city and even after living here for five years, I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface! Happy exploring!

Dulwich is somewhere in London I don’t think I’ve ever been! I’ll definitely be rectifying that as soon as I can get to London again to explore. Everything looks so gorgeous and the food sounds wonderful! I would love to take you up on the offer of grabbing a coffee too!
