Summer Lovin’…

I am a sucker for a summer dress. The second the weather gets warm, I turn away from my beloved jeans and t-shirts and start rocking dresses. More recently, I’ve fallen in love with the midi dress, and when I saw this white number from Oliver Bonas, it was love at first site! I already know it’s going to be a summer staple! Who doesn’t love when you find that piece that will get you through a whole season? I’ve definitely done that with this midi dress!

I used to think I was too short for for midi dresses, but as I got older I thought I’d give them a go! I mean, you never know until you try something, right? Maybe it’s because I’m a bit older now? My style has definitely gotten a little more grown up in the last few years, and I find things like midi dresses much more comfortable!

I’m already thinking of all the ways I can style this gorgeous white midi dress:

– pair it with a striped tee and trainers? Check!

– rock it with some red lippy and big statement earrings? Done!

– embrace the leopard print like I’ve done above? Repeat, repeat, repeat!

– pop on some cute gladiator sandals and sunnies? Yup.

I mean, the possibilities are endless! I love summer dresses, but I do have a few that can only really be worn one way, ya know? Like they’re a specific pattern or cut so I find the options aren’t as plentiful. This one though, is definitely a winner!

The addition of pockets (what gal doesn’t love dresses with pockets?!) is a total dream, and honestly, I could wear this midi dress for days and days! I feel like I could sit in the park, or head for a nice afternoon out somewhere in this outfit and be so comfy!

I will also admit that I was a little nervous to rock this number. I’m a but self-conscious about my arms, and I don’t really wear many sleeveless things.

It’s a weird rule I convinced myself of and I’m doing my darndest to break it!

Still, I think it’s safe to say that the midi dress is the way forward, and I’ll be living in this gorgeous one all summer!
